Who we are

What the contact form collects

When you submit the form on our contact page, we collect the name, email address, optional phone number, and project details you type into it. We use that information for one purpose: to reply to you and, if you want one, to arrange a free estimate. The form also includes a hidden anti-spam field; if it is filled in, the submission is silently discarded and never sent to us.

Form submissions are delivered to our business inbox by Forward Email, which also handles mail sent to our published address. We do not sell, rent, or trade what you send us, and we do not add you to a marketing list. We keep enquiry emails only as long as we need them for the job or our business records.

Analytics and cookies

This site loads Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and move through the site — for example which service pages are read most. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you arrived. We use it in aggregate to improve the site; we do not use it to identify you personally. You can block these cookies with your browser settings or with Google's opt-out add-on.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like virtually all web hosts, Vercel automatically records standard request information — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, and user agent — to serve the site, keep it available, and protect it from abuse.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not take payments through this website, so no card or bank details are collected here. We do not have user accounts or logins. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing hello@vbconstructionma.com. If you have contacted us and would rather we did not keep your enquiry, tell us and we will remove it from our inbox and records, unless we are required to keep it for an active job or for legal or accounting reasons. Massachusetts residents may have additional rights under state law.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to outside sources such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency or the Department of Energy for reference. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
